B-Stack Velocity Stack

The B-Stack™ velocity stack is designed to deliver air intake velocity that favors B-Stack Velocity Stackhigh-end power. It’s a companion design to the B-Hive™ bolt system.

Our velocity stack (often called an air horn or intake trumpet) is a flared, tube-shaped device attached to a S&S performance carburetor  to maximize airflow efficiency and increase engine power. On V-twin engines, they replace the standard bulky air cleaner box with a sleek, minimalist entry tube.

Application:
S&S Carberator B-Stack Velocity Stack

How It Works:

  • B-StackSmooths Out Airflow: Standard flat or sharp intake edges cause air to detach, spinning into chaotic vortices that restrict flow. The flared radius of a velocity stack gently funnels ambient air into a clean, smooth stream (laminar flow) directly into the engine.
  • Venturi Effect: Based on Bernoulli’s principle of fluid dynamics, the stack forces high-pressure, slow-moving air from its wide opening into a narrow throat. This rapidly accelerates the air velocity into the engine, packing more volume into the cylinder for better combustion.
