ROY’S TOYS CUSTOMS ROLLS INTO THE 2016 MILWAUKEE RALLY
For Harley enthusiasts, the biggest party of the summer happened Labor Day Weekend, as the Museum hosted two Custom Bike Shows: H-D Museum Ride-In Custom Bike Show and H-D Museum Invitational Bike Builder Custom Bike Show.
In addition, the Museum was one of the first places to see the new 2017 Harley-Davidson® motorcycles, including the new Milwaukee-Eight engine.
The 2016 Milwaukee Rally – It’s called the largest free motorcycle rally in the Midwest, with nonstop live music at the dealerships: Milwaukee Harley-Davidson, House of Harley-Davidson in Greenfield; Hal’s Harley-Davidson in New Berlin; Suburban Motors Harley-Davidson in Thiensville; and Wisconsin Harley-Davidson, in Oconomowoc.

“The 2016 Milwaukee Rally was a huge success for the Roy’s Toys Customs’ team,” explained Roy Martin. “We want to thank the entire staff of the Harley-Davidson Museum as well as all of the Harley-Davidson fans that came out and supported the event.”
It’s a driving rally, with participants going back and forth between the dealerships, the Harley-Davidson Museum, and Harley’s Pilgrim Road engine plant in Menomonee Falls, where bike test rides will take place.
Some events begin Wednesday night while most get started Thursday. There’s something different at every location, said Scott Houpt, vice president and general manager of Suburban Motors Harley-Davidson.
The Big Reveal From Harley-Davidson
This year’s rally will offered motorcyclists a chance to see the new Milwaukee-Eight engine on the 2017 touring bikes. Harley says it’s only the eighth time in the company’s 113-year history that it has done a complete redesign of its classic V-Twin engine. It is the biggest engine-product launch for the company since 1988, when the Twin Cam made its debut.
“The Harley-Davidson faithful know how to throw a party and the Milwaukee Rally is proof,” said Martin. “Our entire family had a great time at the rally and we look forward to next year.”
