Build a Custom Softail Chopper – Follow along with updates on Nikki’s custom Softail chopper.
The Roy’s Toys Customs’ team began reviewing the options for Nikki’s “Lucky 13” motorcycle. As with any bike build, from mild to wild, taking consideration of usage is important.
Nikki will use the bike as a bar hopper and for select custom bike shows. So a Softail chopper was determined to meet her needs.
A Kraft Tech Softail Chopper, tank and wheels were sourced. After the roller was completed, she was fitted for the bike.
Roy is a proponent of powder coating. He likes the toughness and durability of the product. He also likes the coating that resembles ceracoat, a ceramic polymer used in firearms. So he started off with cerecoat style finish on the wheels.
Nikki’s Completed Custom Softail Chopper
Nikki started building bikes at the age of 16. Her Dad Roy (Roy’s Toys Customs) had helped her in her pursuit of becoming a builder when she was starting out and he was at the Rally as well. Nikki’s custom chopper is a pretty amazing work of art.
