About the Sportster & the Hand Grenade – Life started out as a basket case for this little Sporty but with a lot of love and outstanding design, it has become an awarding winning sled. It took 1st place in the Retro Class at the J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show in Dallas in 2017. The video is from a set done by InkSpired Magazine.
H-D 110th celebration and AMD affiliate custom show
As part of the Motor Company’s 110th activities, an AMD World Championship program custom show was held at the Harley-Davidson Museum Campus in Milwaukee during a weekend of celebrations. Organized by Bob Kay’s Biker Pros team, the event included four AMD Invitational classes (Freestyle, Radical Bagger, Retro Mod, and Mod Harley) and saw one lucky winner, Shaun Ruddy, qualify to compete at AMD World Championship in Germany. The award winning Beezlebub motorcycle took a top 3 in tough competition.
The team pulled The Phoenix down to the frame and built it up into a custom sled. Powdercoat was used instead of paint. The powertrain gleams with a coating that resembles ceracoat, a ceramic polymer used in firearms.

Roy & Christy Martin’s Rump Roast is a Custom 300 Fat Tire Softail Chopper which features a Thunder Mountain 300 Softail frame with Ridewright Wheels 80 stainless spoke wheels, Avon Venom donuts, Gunslinger Custom Paint and custom sheet metal that was hand formed by Roy Martin.
